  • How long does a commission take?
This tends to vary depending on whether you need something sourcing and on how big the piece. Projects normally take between 3 - 6 weeks but I will keep you updated throughout the process
  • Can I supply my own piece of furniture for you to work on?
Yes of course. Please get in touch via my Commission Service page to get the ball rolling and I'll be happy to help.
  • Do I need to pay a deposit to secure a Commission slot?
Yes, this will guarantee you an allocated slot for me to work on your commission. The deposit is £95 and this covers pick up and the cost of initial materials. You can get in touch about commission orders on my Commission Service page or Pay your Deposit now via my Shop page.
  • What are your Delivery charges?
Delivery is free to Mainland GB. Delivery is arranged through trusted furniture couriers and is estimated to take place within 1-4 weeks of your order being placed (excluding custom orders – for custom orders, once the piece is finished, delivery is then arranged), but can often be much quicker. The drivers contact you directly to confirm the date and time of delivery. This service usually requires the customer’s assistance to unload into your home, however, for an additional cost we can arrange for a two person delivery. ** If you are outside of mainland GB, please contact me before purchasing so I can arrange a quote for you. I will be happy to help.**
  • What are your eco-credentials?
As well as saving furniture from landfill, materials used are UK made and eco-friendly wherever possible (with the exception of products used to strip old finishes). I re-use packaging when wrapping furniture and items. Any materials printed by Restoration Hut are created using recycled materials.
  • How do I look after my newly refinished furniture?
Freshly painted furniture can take up to 28 days to fully harden so I advise taking additional care during this time, whilst the products used are still curing. Paints and varnishes used are waterproof, however I still recommend using placemats/coasters when in use. All my paints and finishes are natural and eco-friendly so using polishes or other chemicals on the furniture could damage it. Instead, you can give it a wipe with a damp microfibre cloth to keep it looking shiny and new.
