This charming Petite Vintage Desk Bureau is a rare find. Dating back to the 1930's, this piece originates from an exclusive designer store, "Mawer and Collingham", who were based in Lincoln. The shop no longer exists but this lovely desk is a beautiful piece of it's history.
 
The desk has had the full Restoration Hut refurb. It’s been stripped, primed, handpainted, waxed; and even had its stationery nook rebuilt. The drop panel has a unique hand painted design both on the outside and inside. This is the real showcase of the desk whilst the drawers are happy to stand in the wings as it's support act. Although I couldn't resist adding a pop of colour to the inside of them of course!
 
So, if you're after a lovely little desk for a little girls' bedroom or you have a small nook you'd love to fill, then this is the desk for you.
